The fountains and figures are made of cast stone (a formula of Dick Popell) and finished in an indoor, outdoor finish (PATINA). This finish looks exactly like old bronze and will weather nicely for years and years.

Actual leaves from the giant sea grape tree were used to make the molds. As far as we know, there are only two of these fully grown trees in this country. They were brought into America from Brazil by the man who furnished many of the tropical plants and trees for the famous Fairchild Tropical Gardens in Miami, Florida and one for his nursery near Fairchild.
